Your Vision Board Planner

“Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become

what you believe.” — Oprah Winfrey

Get Clear on What You Desire Before you begin your vision board, find a quiet place to sit and reflect. Then take some time to answer these questions to help you determine the theme for your board. This will help you become really clear on your goals and desired emotions.

Don’t try to rush the process! Take all the time you need to become really clear on how you want your life to look and how you want to feel.

If you’re having a vision board party, take time to answer these questions alone and then discuss them with the group. That will really strengthen the impact of your board.

1. What does your dream life look like?

2. What kind of person do you want to be?

5. What emotions do you want to feel?

6. Describe what your typical day would look like in your dream life. What

time will you wake up? Where will you live? What will you do? Write down

how each part of your day would make you feel.

7. List between 5-10 Wildly Improbable Goals for the upcoming year. These

are goals that you would love to achieve but just seem a little unrealistic.

Gather Your Images You can get your images from anywhere: magazines, the Internet, even pictures you’ve saved on your phone. Sprinkle some words through the images that resonate with your theme. Words and pictures create a powerful message for your brain. There are some free printables at the end of this guide you may like.

As you gather your images, focus on the feelings they evoke rather than whether they match any of your goals. The point of a vision board is to inspire the same emotions you’d feel if you met your goal, so focus on those.

Plan The Placement of Your Images Cut out or print the images you want to use. Before you glue them down, plan the placement of the images on your board. You may see some white space you want to fill or decide that some images don’t fit with your theme.

When you’re done, take a picture of your board so you can remember how you placed the images!

Time to Glue Things Down Put on some music, light a candle and glue down your images. When you’re done, take a few minutes to look over your board and see if any changes are needed. Then, admire your work!

Hang Your Board Somewhere You See it

Frequently A vision board is most powerful when you see it frequently. Don’t forget to stop and really study it occasionally. Take a moment to feel the emotions the board evokes and don’t be afraid to get rid of a board that no longer resonates.

FREE PRINTABLES The next few pages contain some cards you may want to use on your vision board. Just print out the page you want to use and cut out the card for your board.
