This historic house has been home to the same family, the Leghs, for

over 700 years. A hidden gem that showcases Georgian, Tudor and

Restoration facades and interiors, the Great Hall dates from 1505 and

the Great Organ is one of England’s most important 17th century

musical instruments, a simply breathtaking feature.

YOUR PERFECT VENUECombining heritage with a contemporary twist, AdlingtonHall & Gardens boasts an amazing style; the magnificentGreat Hall, glorious gardens for an outdoor ceremony andthe recently refurbished Hunting Lodge.

The highlight of the house is The Great Hall, licensed for civil

ceremonies. Step down the aisle, bathed in the dappled light of the

mullioned windows and take your vows under the gaze of our six

carved angels, this unique room is the perfect setting to start your

future together.

After celebrating with drinks in our gardens you can move to

The Hunting Lodge, a lovely Georgian mews, recently renovated

with a modern twist. The building features exposed brick walls

and authentic wooden beams to the ceiling, retaining its original

character, while the décor is simple yet sophisticated including

striking chandeliers and a bespoke bar with leather lounge chairs.

As the latest addition to Adlington Hall, the Hunting Lodge is

an excellent space for both the wedding breakfast and

evening reception.

Exclusively for you we have our Bridal preparation room available

from 9am on the day of your wedding. A perfect space to get

ready whilst enjoying a glass of champagne before saying “I do”



For those wishing to marry outdoors, Adlington HallGardens offer two picturesque settings; the Courtyardand the Rose Garden.

The Courtyard is walled and located in the centre of the building,

providing dramatic views of the hall from different eras, while the Rose

Garden is quintessentially British and gives the ‘wow factor’. It is a feast

of colour incorporating formal rose beds and rambler roses, climbing

pillars and rope swags, with guests arriving through a laburnum arch

and couples walking down a ‘rose’ aisle.

With vast grounds at Adlington Hall, guests can walk to the water

gardens and rose gardens before wandering through the yew tree

maze, taking in the beauty of the surrounding scenery, while couples

have plenty of backdrop options for photographs.
