“GEVA Gas- und Energieverteilungsanlagen GmbH” a 100%-subsidary of the “MHC-
Group“, took over the famous “J.B. Rombach Anlagenbau” company in 2005.
Our core business is to act as EPC contractor for gas pressure regulation and metering systems
(PMRS) in technical – and quality standard of former “J.B.Rombach Anlagenbau” company as
well as new gas applications such as CNG Filling Stations and advanced bio gas techniques.
GEVA has maintained its manufacturing entity for pressure reducing and meter stations
(PMRS) in Karlsruhe – Ettlingen, Germany
GEVA is certificated at DVGW (German approval authority for water and gas installations
companies) in the field of applications “gas pressure regulator and metering stations (PMRS)
acc. – DVGW G493 – 1”.
GEVA has also close business-cooperation with company “ GTS – Thielmann Energietechnik
GmbH”, who designs and builds dry gas filters, filter – separators, water bath heaters, silencers
and heat exchangers, they are based in Kassel, Germany.
GEVA stations and equipment are widely approved by the gas utilities all over the world and
we undertake to manufacture them all to the relevant codes and standards in force in the Gas
transmission and distribution industries.
We would like to point out that all of our products are designed and produced within our Total
Quality Management (TQM) systems, such as:
c DVGW G 493-1
c DIN EN ISO 9001
c DIN EN ISO 14001
c KTA 1401
c SCC **
Furthermore, our engineering team based in Ettlingen is specialized in the field of developing
electronic and energy metering systems for custody transfer.

An International Presence
As a EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) contractor for gas pressure regulation
and metering systems (PMRS), GEVA delivers the various units tailor-made for installations
in concrete buildings, in cabinets (steel sheet, aluminum or plastic) otherwise in as well as so
called open – air installations for domestic and export requirements.
According to customer requirement, we install in the PMRS the most modern equipment
for gas cleaning, gas heating, regulating and metering. We provide instrument and control
equipment as well as communication systems between at site installation and Local Control
Board (LCB) as well as Central Control Board (CCB).
GEVA has also advanced knowledge for CNG filling stations and GEVA increased it’s EPC
activities with Bio Gas installations (to fulfill the requirement for this fast growing market
segment).
GEVA provides (beside erection, commissioning, supervision) on special request, service,
maintenance and repair for all kind of PMRS.

GEVA Gas- und Energieverteilungsanlagen GmbH
is a 100% subsidiary of “MHC Holding GmbH (MHC)”.
MHC is a well known service company providing its industrial services (such as system
engineering, service, mechanical workshop activities, maintenance, repair, security) to all
major companies in the domestic area as well in the neighbouring European countries. With
a manpower force of nearly 300 skilled engineers and well trained workers, MHC meets the
requirements of modern industrial production and service philosophy.
In order to maintain a close relation to our customers, we set up a close sales network to
assure intensive support day and night for our customers. Our field service is connected to
their headquarters by means of the most modern communication technologies and can thus
call up the latest data at any time. This highly developed exchange of information between
field service and office employees enables us to process PMRS needs and/or industrial
requirements without lead time.
To meet and maintain the customer’s quality requirements, we have implemented a Total
Quality Management (TQM) system years ago which is certified in compliance with DIN ISO
9001, DIN ISO 14001, KTA 1401, DVGW G 493-1 and last not least SCC**.
Quality control and quality management in all company sectors is the logical implementation
of MHC-Group’s quality philosophy.
On the following pages you will get an overview and a description of the GEVA capabilities.

The certification proves that all major quality elements of the DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 standard
are fulfilled. Basically, this refers to the following features:
■ permanent redesign and innovation for the advancement of our products
■ introduction of quality measures already in the planning stage
■ highly qualified suppliers
■ stringent incoming inspection
■ production with high technical standard
■ qualified and well trained staff
■ continual quality checks in production
■ only products that fulfill all quality requirements are processed further and
delivered to the customer
■ 100% function and safety inspection of all devices
■ final check of the complete system in Ettlingen
10
Environmental Management System according to DIN EN ISO 14001 : 2005

adapted to new developments, conditions and laws.
Many customers demanding an SCC** certificate from contractors working on their premises.
The SCC** certificate is based on questionnaire – test lists and covers the themes in the field
of safety, health and environmental protection.
Topics and benefits are:
■ SCC** convey important information on work
■ SCC** qualified are familiar with essential legal requirements regarding the occupational
safety & health protection
■ well-trained personnel can help to reduce cost, as the periods of trouble-free operation
last longer and the need for the cost and time-consuming auditing of various machine
and system downtimes can be reduced
■ practice shows that the increase in the level of safety consciousness among staff
reduces the rates of accidents, thereby reducing the financial burden on the business
■ cost reduction for the customer
GEVA’s top management was among those companies, identifying these advantages of SSC**
certificate to the benefits of themselves and for there customers.
