Here’s some information to help you with some of the activities for this week:

The structure of music! If you get stuck, looking at the lyrics for repeated sections may help to get you started! Both the track and lyrics can be accessed here https://www.singup.org/singupathome/songs-to-get-moving Useful Musical Vocabulary: Intro/ Introduction: ‘Music heard at the beginning of a song or piece of music’. Outro: 'A section which brings the song or piece to an end’. Verse: ‘A section in a song which has the same tune but different words’. Chorus: ‘A repeated section in a song which gives the main message’. Pre-chorus: ‘A short section in a song, before the chorus’. Bridge: ‘A musical bridge is a section of music that contrasts the verse and the chorus. It is often used to take the listener from one section to the next. In most pop music, the bridge is usually found after the second chorus, and moves into the last chorus.

Spagetti towers

This video might be helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DHs02PbWFs The structure of a tower has a significant affect upon its strength and its stiffness. A tower made from square shapes can be made significantly more rigid and less likely to collapse by adding reinforcement to form triangles
