When we sit down to chow down, it’s always the smell that first gets us salivating. That’s why, this week, we want you to celebrate the sense of smell by posting your favourite fragrant foods that get the olfactory

system running! Whether it’s something strong like a stinky cheese that’s putting you in an aroma coma or exotic spices offering a more subtle odour, who needs scratch and sniff technology? With this mission, we expect to be smelling your posts right off the page!

“To me, the most mouthwatering aroma belongs to the char grilled rump steak. Simply intoxicating!” says Gastroposter Alexandra Tang

YOUR NEXT MISSION:

SOMETHING SMELLS GOOD

Sense of smell is one of the keys to fully appreciating and enjoying a fine wine.

No one knows this better than the Niagara Food & Wine Expo, a premier international tasting event featuring

wines, beers and spirits from around the globe alongside Niagara’s finest vintages. Featuring sessions

with guest chefs, winemakers and mixologists, this annual event taking place April 15-17 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre is sure to kick Gastroposters’ sense

of smell and taste up a notch. Want to take part? The Niagara Food & Wine Expo is offering 50 pairs of tickets to the first 50 Gastroposters who complete this week’s mission using the hashtags #NFWE2016 and

#gastropost. A weekend of wining and dining awaits you! Visit niagarafoodandwine.ca.
