domestic Journeys within the United States, undersubscribed U.S. outbound Journeys, and
occasional regional conferences and special events. The Journeys listed in the U.S. eFlyer are open to all
ambassadors, representing some of the many places where you can experience new cultures and expand
your global circle of friends.

You are invited to join FF Central VA on a 4-night journey to FF Greater Harrisburg Pennsylvania. You will experience home hospitality and tour one of our nation’s most beautiful state capitol buildings. During a visit to Hershey 'the sweetest place on earth', you'll learn about the philanthropy and legacy of Milton S. Hershey on a Chocolate and History Trolley tour of his town. Stop at “Chocolate World” to learn how Hershey chocolate is made. Lunch buffet at the 4 star Hotel Hershey. A free day will alowl you to experience south central Pennsylvania with your hosts. Civil War History will come to life at the National Park Service’s Visitors Center. Lunch at Dobbin House Tavern – built in 1776 and once a stop on the Underground Railroad. Afternoon tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield highlights. A farewell pot luck will complete the long weekend. On departure day, make independent arrangements to stop and tour the Harley Davidson motorcycle plant in York. Arrive by car, plane or train on Thursday 5/28 afternoon/eve. Depart on Monday morning 6/1. Most meals and all entrance fees are included.

Join members of Friendship Force Los Angeles on a Journey to Winnipeg, Canada and Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA. Winnipeg, known as the ""Gateway to the West"" is the capital of the prairie province of Manitoba. There is much to do and see in this multicultural city. The historic areas of the Forks offers shops, restaurants and green space dedicated to festivals, concerts and exhibits and the Exchange District is known for its numerous art galleries and early 20th Century architecture. After seven days of home hosting by members of FF Winnipeg, we will travel to the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and Saint Paul.) We will explore this land of many lakes, parks, gardens and much more with our friends from the FF Twin Cities , MN club.
Each of these week-long journeys will include a welcome event, dinner parties in member's homes, local cultural events, seeing the sights, learning about our new friends and what makes the places they call home special, and concludes with a Farewell event.

This Journey provides ambassadors with the opportunity to experience a little of the natural beauty of Maranhão: it’s beaches, culture, cuisine, history, in the cities of São Luís and Barreirinhas, while being hosted by member of FF São Luis! Go on a city tour by foot through the historic center of São Luis, visit museums, a local market, a government palace, and the Artur Azevedo theater. In Barreirinhas, we will visit Lençóis (“sheets”), where the ambassadors will have the opportunity to bathe in the transparent waters of the lagoons and tour Preguiças, the lighthouse of the Mandacaru, and Caburé.

The Land of Nomads- the Terelj-Gorkhi national park named after rhododendron bushes which bloom in May, here you will have to switch your imagination because granite rock of the park will remind you images of animals and people as famous Turtle Rock, visit the Chinggis Khan equestrian statue complex where you will enjoy the surrounding view from the top of the statue. After Mongolia you will come to city Ulan-Ude, in East Siberia, Russia. This is an active Journey with walking two to three miles a day, perhaps encountering nature trails, uneven surfaces, stairs, and significant slopes.

Couched in between such obscure neighbours as Iran, Georgia, Azerbaijan and several self-declared (and rarely recognized) republics, this little country is hardly positioned as a wonderful place for visit. A country of beautiful natural scenery, strong ties to the past and exceedingly warm local hospitality, time in this Caucasus jewel makes for an experience enormously rewarded.
The middle of September is the most favorable time for a journey to Armenia, rich with fruit and vegetable. The average temperature is at 68-77 F (20-25C). But it might be chilly in mountain areas. We recommend that our guests take some jackets, comfortable shoes and umbrellas in case it rains. In Armenia, our guests are going to enjoy unbelievable nature, delicious food, magnificent architecture, with some sites listed by UNESCO. Breakfasts and dinners are included. Accommodation in double rooms with all conveniences.
