Ancient Egyptian Dice

Throwing the Dice in the ways we suggest will take you through several easy “forms” or techniques, that when you get used to it become quick, powerful and amazing ways to give yourself alternatives and options in any of life’s odd situations.

People have been doing this for thousands and thousands of years in one way or another, and now it’s YOUR turn to “Throw the Bones”


The 5 Box Game

• First, we ASK a QUESTION. Then draw a simple diagram (Left) on a piece of Paper.

• Throw the 10 Sided Die Three Times and write the numbers into the top Three Boxes

• Click the mouse once to bring up the next box. Now pretend your click of the mouse is a roll of the Die. You rolled 5, 9 and 4

• On the next page we will run through the whole process, and what the positions of each number means.

• Next we add up these numbers. We add the 5 and 9 to get 14, then add the 9 and 4 to get 13.

• Click the mouse to find the steps from throwing the Die to adding up to the various numbers. It’s very simple, just follow the clicks

• In the final “Box” we see what the numbers represent. The First addition is the Past, the Second the Future, and the final addition is the Present.

• Now look up what they mean in the composite Interpretations. That’s it, now you have to make sense of it!

5 Box Game: Interpretation

• Let’s say your question was about a new job. Place this question against the interpretations of the Past, Future and Present against the question, and see what comes up for you.

• In this case Past = 14, Future = 13 and the Present = 27

PAST: 14... Snakes and Ladders: A number of movement, travel

and new associations.

14 is a very fortunate number. However, caution and prudence

are advised, especially in the choice of associates. There is a simple rule when this number

comes up… Do not have anyone in your immediate

business surroundings who you cannot trust or who you cannot

communicate with easily.

PRESENT 27... Reward will come from the application of intellect, not physical force. Growing the Intelligence of the Heart

will bring the greatest of rewards..

The Message is to stay

focussed and balanced in what you do. Practice

patience with all things.

FUTURE:13... You may be greatly

misunderstood. Even so, this is not at all unlucky and indicates a new energy

arriving in your life.

This is often a message that CHANGE is happening, but

which way will the change go? Take the time to look at your

life, and ask advice from someone you trust as regards

your best direction.


5 Box Game: Answer

• Well… the 14, 13 and 27 seem to be saying many things. A quick review seems to indicate that it is a time for a little patience, and to see how things shape up.

• You may want to throw the Dice again, to clarify for yourself what all of this might mean, or it may be exactly the answer you were looking for

• You decide, that’s the core of Decimal Dicing. You have to decide what fits, how it fits, and what to do with it.

The 9 Box Game

The Nine Box Game is one of the oldest Dice games on record. In Rome, it was used in a Game called Terni Lapilli.

Examples of this Graphic to your right have been found in 6000 year old tombs in the British Isles, In Ancient Egypt, In China and boards that use this pattern

were all over Ancient Rome.

It looks so simple, just like Tic Tac Toe, but there is much more to this odd arrangement of Nine Squares than

meets the eye.

There are several ways of playing this game. The simplest is called

“Doublets:. This is where you throw the Dice according to a set pattern.

The First throw goes into the Lower Left Corner, and follows the simple

order given in the graphic to the Lower left on this Page.

• Interpreting the Doublet Game is very simple. Simply put the number throw with the Order of the throw. IE: Your first throw is a 3, so it is a 1-3 combination. The second throw is a 9, so it is a 2-9 combination.

• Now all you do is look up the various meanings in the Double Number interpretations.

Your throw of the 10 sided Die gave us the numbers to your left. By

aligning these numbers to the order of the throws we get the series of

doublets (double numbers):

1-3, 2-7, 3-9, 0-4, 5-1, 6-2, 7-6, 8-1 and 9-1. This is your Double Number Series which you can look up in the

Interpretations.

This gives a story line that so often makes extraordinary sense in

regards to the question w were asking.

The Number Flow is as Follows:• 1/3 Big plans, but often insecure

• 2/7 Balance the Masculine and Feminine within

• 3/9 Take care with appearing pretentious

• 5/1 Ego whispers the most cunning truth

• 6/2 Can you see yourself in the mirror

• 7/6 Get over the hump and the new day awaits

• 8/1 Throw caution to the wind carefully

• 9/1 Knowing what to say is half the battle

Now, if the Question is about Career the interpretation is

obviously different than if the question is about Love. Maybe

you are Moving House? Can you see

how the answer “shapes” to the

question?

• This is another 9 Box Game, but this time we are incorporating a far more complex game plan.

• We will be looking at the Pythagorean Archetypes, and see how our question fits in with each “line” of addition that comes from this.

• If your question was regarding Love, 21 in the area of Creativity and Business does not sit so well. It looks difficult.

• However, if you are asking about Career, the aspect is saying the outlook seems positive. A little hard work provides great results.

The Universe awaits. 21 represents achievement and honours. It is victory,

but rarely is this easily won, and so the 21 also indicates a long fight.

judge you? No, so why judge yourself? Get on with it, and live in the highest, lightest

way possible.

Each “Line” is added to form a Number that relates to the area

“ruled” by that Line. The 21 in the Creative line has a specific

interpretation that will relate to the question you are asking

It is quite simple when you get the hang of it, but this Game can take

some time to get used to.

• That’s it! That is all there is to the Matrix Game. You ask a Question, throw the dice, add up the lines, and see what the interpretation is.

• The 8 Aspects cover the general life questions we all share, and somewhere in the overall reading, something will come through that will give you the “Ah Ha!” moment.

Ancient style of Spinning Dice, similar to what the Biblical Solomon used, were

once used for prophecy. This form of Dice were easier to create even

“chance” sides as you did not have to work them into perfect 3D shapes
