Supporting the combined real estate investments of its shareholders has allowed EMICOOL to develop and own a vastrange of district cooling utility plants in Dubai Investment Park (DIP), the Green Community, and Dubai Motor City.
Project Scope / Highlights:ADC was awarded an EPC contract to design & build 75,000 TR District Cooling Plant. Twelve sets of chiller modules with total capacity of 60,000 TR were installed in phasesinside the plant room. Two TES tanks were built in phases to add 15,000 TR to the plant capacity with a final total capacity of 75,000 TR.
Similarly, ADC was awarded a separate EPC contract to design & build DIP-6 37,500 TR District Cooling Plant. A TES tank was included where it is providing 30,000 TR.hr

Project Scope / Highlights:This mega plant spreads over 5,000 square meters and includes multiple dual

Performance is guaranteed with the detection of contract flow primarychilled water and condenser water pumps to the cooling towers located on theroof structure. Further, TES tanks provide another20,000 TR of cooling with a combined storage capacity of 100,000 TR.hr.

Project Scope / Highlights:The project consists of adding an extension to an already existing central cooling plant of 10,000 TR, and whichconsists of a set of soft-starter chillers for a total cooling capacity of 5,000 TR. (c) – an international investment firm headquartered in Bahrain, whose shareholding was subsequently re-assigned to Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), PARAGON was awarded the district cooling plantsconcession on Saadiyat Island’s main TDIC developments. TDIC is the Abu-Dhabi based master developer of keycultural, residential and tourism destinations including Saadiyat Island.
Project Scope / Highlights:The project in its completed stages was slated for a combined capacity of fifty thousand tons of refrigeration (69,500 TR)including TES tanks, and serving a 27 km2 area. DCP2 plant (12,500 TR designed capacity) was completed in July 2013while DCP3 will be completed by the end of 2014 to serve the Cultural district, as well as the Promenade district whichwill contain resorts, family entertainment facilities, and hotels.
