TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURESThe following temporary street closures will be occuring this week:• Wednesday 13 December 2017 for the
Wee Waa Christmas Mardi Gras between the hours of 5:45pm and 8:30pm on Rose Street, Wee Waa - between George Street and Church Street.
• Thursday 14 December 2017 for the Narrabri and District Chamber of Commerce Christmas Street Carnival between the hours of 4:00pm and 9:00pm on Maitland Street, Narrabri - between Lloyd and Bowen Street (northern half only)
• Friday 15 December 2017 for the Boggabri Christmas Carnival between the hours of 5:30pm and 9:00pm on Merton Street, Boggabri - between Brent Street to Dalton Street.
WATER RATES DELAY
All residents should now have received their water rates for the 2nd quarter 2017/2018 following a delay due to the change over to the new automatic water meters. Payment for water rates is due 5 January 2018. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by this delay
PARVOVIRUS OUTBREAKThe Narrabri Pound has experienced a parvo outbreak and will be closed until the 22 December for disinfection. The Ranger will still be able to attend issues but will be unable to impound animals over this period of time.
