FRAUD BLOCKED THROUGH VOICE CAPTCHA

TransNexus has created a voice captcha gateway to screen robocalls. Suspected robocalls are diverted to the captcha gateway. At the gateway, the caller will be prompted to enter a random two-digit code. This enables companies to block robocalls but not inadvertently block calls that aren’t fraud.

If NexOSS-FC detects fraud, it will return a SIP 603 Decline message to the SBC. The default behavior of most SBCs will be to block the call and proxy the 603 message back to the call source. However, NexOSS-FC can be configured to return any SIP code when fraud is detected. Call blocking is op�onal.

FRAUD BLOCKED

When a fraud trigger is ac�vated, the event will be logged and the call may be blocked or diverted depending on how the fraud trigger is configured. When a fraud trigger is ac�vated, an alert with details about the ac�vated trigger can be sent by email or SNMP or both.

NO FRAUD FOUND

NexOSS-FC examines the source signaling IP address, source media IP address, calling number, called number and SIP user agent to determine if the call should be blocked. If no fraud is detected, NexOSS-FC returns a SIP 404 "no route found" message to the SBC. The default behavior of the SBC is to route to the next des�na�on in its local rou�ng table.
