Closer – Mike Stud. There are so many meaningful things in this song, which is why it’s one of my favorites. I like to think there are a lot of similarities between what he says in the song and things that pertain to my life. If you were a box of cereal, which one would you be and why? Frosted Mini-Wheat’s or as I call it, the mullet of cereals. I know how to act professional when needed (wheat part) but, I still like to have a good time (frosted top).If you could throw a parade of any caliber through the Ansay & associates office, what type of parade would it be? The parade from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off…everyone should have the opportunity to lip sync on a float.

If you were a box of cereal, which one would you be and why? I would definitely have to be Captain Crunch. I would be Captain Crunch because by just glancing at the cereal it may seem relatively simple, but that is far from the truth. “There is a lot more too myself than what one may obtain from simply looking at my appearance”.If you could throw a parade of any caliber through the Ansay & Associates office, what type of parade would it be? I would have to go with a Hawaiian themed parade. I would throw this specific type of parade, because I enjoy warm weather, sunlight, and the outdoors. Also who doesn’t love a solid Hawaiian parade?

  • 2015 SummitsThis years summits gave our employees the opportunity to reflect on where we have been and focus on how we are going to achieve the goals of tomorrow, all while adapting to change. Both of the summits were held at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, WI with a central theme of sustainability.

Leadership SummitThis two day event gave our sales team a great opportunity to hear from not only professionals in the insurance industry but also from many key leaders in different industries. The first day began with the Pledge of Allegiance led by our very own employee and veteran, Dave VandenOever. Soon after, Mike Ansay (CEO), Tom Schaetz (COO) & Angela Sikowski (CFO) welcomed employees and kicked off the Summit with a welcome presentation on sustainability. Next, the team heard from technology expert and experienced independent insurance agent, Steve Anderson. As we look to the future and how we can sustain in the ever-changing insurance world, Steve helped provide us with tips and information on marketing and sales management, and how we can stay ahead of our competition through the effective use of technology. After a short break, the team regathered to hear from, Randy Schwantz, who is considered to be one of THE top experts on sales for large commercial insurance agencies. He established one of the largest and fastest growing sales consulting firm insurance agencies, and has more documented financial client success stories than any other sales consultant in the insurance business. Ansay & Associates puts a strong focus on creating a fun and energetic environment, while rewarding each employee for their hard work. Following lunch, we brought a little humor, energy and a magical touch through the performer, Mark Mitton, who was so great at our 2014 summit, we had to invite him back!

After a little comic relief, we heard from John O’Leary, a motivational speaker that strives to bring emotional story-telling and great humor that empowers audience members to take bold, decisive action to transform whatever challenges they are currently facing into outstanding growth. His life is truly proof of the power of the human spirit. At nine years old, he was burned on 100% of his body and given less than

one percent chance of surviving the first night. His accomplishments and incredible journey truly was inspiration to all. Ending the day, we got a chance for Employee Benefit / Property & Casualty breakout sessions with our summit sponsors. SECURA Insurance was represented by Shane Roh – RVP of Sales, Sarah Krause – Director of CL Underwriting, Casey Haen – Market Manager and Adam Piette –Supervisor of CL Underwriting. They spoke with the

P&C side on many of their programs and services offered, as well as an overview of the partnership between Ansay & Associates and SECURA. On the Employee Benefits side we had Lincoln Financial Group give a presentation on Strategic Partner Account Management, and the history of business and solution selling between Ansay and Lincoln Financial Group. Representing them was Martin Pepe - Account Executive and Holly Chladek - Sales Coordinator. A huge thank you to both of this year’s sponsors!

The evening consisted of dinner at The Osthoff Resort, awards, and entertainment provided by Out of the Box Productions. There were many laughs and it gave our employees a chance to connect and socialize outside of work. The next morning the leadership team participated in a team building activity, Ansay Olympics. This consisted of many different group tasks that challenged the teams to overcome communication boundaries to achieve the common goal.

Brad truly engaged the audience, kept things simple but provided a great message regarding customer service.
