School Mission:
St. Joseph the Provider Catholic School is an in-city center of learning serving families in Youngstown, Ohio and the surrounding area. We are committed to providing an inclusive moral, spiritual and academic atmosphere where learning takes place in a safe and caring environment. By fostering positive relationships with our parents and community, we empower them to support their child’s efforts to live lives based on the tradition of the Church and the gospel mandate of love through service.

St. Joseph the Provider School is fully accredited by the Ohio Catholic Schools Accrediting Association (OCSAA). All teachers hold valid State of Ohio Teaching Certificates/Licenses.

Student Enrollment:
St. Joseph the Provider School enrolls students in Grades K-8 and has an enrollment of 173 students. Our students benefit from small class sizes. Of our students, 100% are entitled to free or reduced breakfast and lunch.
School Year:
The St. Joseph the Provider School year is divided into four quarters of 10 weeks, each with 5 week interim reporting periods and 10 week report periods. Our School year is comprised of 178 days of instruction and 2 parent—teacher conference days. Our school day is from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
