Rabbi’s Message
In this week’s Parsha of Re’eh Moshe Rabeinu continues his recounting of Jewish history and offering constructive criticism for the future. Moshe states you will cross the Jordan, capture and settle the land. Then “you will have rest from your enemies and you will dwell securely.” -.והניח לכם מכל איביכם מסביב וישבתם בטח The obvious question is, if we have conquered our enemies and settled the land, of course we will dwell securely! However, if we carefully reread the verse another lesson can be discovered. “You will have rest from your enemies – when you will dwell securely and peacefully among yourselves!” Moshe is pleading with Bnai Yisrael and telling them the key to their success is unity. When we are united in purpose, we have nothing to fear. How true is
that lesson today!

In light of recent events, it has been decided to keep the front door locked after daily 8:00 AM Shacharis.
• Please be extra cautious and take a moment to make sure the front door of the shul remains closed and locked upon entering and leaving the shul at all other times.
• If you must use the door stopper, after you have completed your task, please remember to close the door and make sure it is locked.
• When pressing the shul buzzer, you must face the camera to the right so we can identify you. It is difficult to know who it is with the majority of people wearing hats/baseball caps. These measures are for everyone’s safety!
