The Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres is proud to offer two exciting and entertaining musicals for the 2016 summer musical theatre camp. In celebration of the 30th anniver-sary of Plain and Fancy at Amish Acres, we honor Joseph Stein, who lent his name to The Round Barn Theatre’s Young Actors Studio, with productions of Fiddler on the Roof and Plain and Fancy. Both of these musicals offer a large cast with a variety of characters to be portrayed. We hope you’ll join us in our 9th and what’s sure to be our best year yet.
The Joseph Stein Young Actors Studio was created in 2007 as Northern Indiana’s first professional musical theatre training for kids. The acting camp has brought children across the area together to perform in musicals such as Disney’s High School Musical, Willy Wonka Jr., Once Upon a Mattress, Camp Rock, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, The Wizard of Oz, Shrek the Musical, Grease, and Mary Poppins.
Campers will perform on The Round Barn Theatre stage under the direction and instruction of the talented forces of the artistic and technical staff and have a blast doing so. No prior performance experience is necessary, just a desire to have fun while experiencing and learning about live musical theatre from top to bottom.
