You too can learn to fly fish! Fly fishing can be a rewarding, year-round sport that can be enjoyed by the entire family. The Dame Juliana League’s Learn to Fly Fish Course is intended to get you started in the sport. You will learn all the basic skills and with a little more practice and time, you can become a skilled fly fisherman. The course is a great value and will provide you with all the information and instruction that other, more expensive courses provide. All of the instructors have been teaching the course for many years and are experienced, seasoned fly fisherman. Casting is taught by an FFI Certified Casting Instructor. The course is limited to 40 students and advance registration is required. All equipment is provided and a PA fishing license is not required. If you have a fly rod and reel, feel free to bring it along and plan to join us for a fun-filled day. Send in this registration form now as the course fills up fast! Who is the Dame Juliana League? The Dame Juliana League Fly Fishers was founded in 1971 and is dedicated to educating our membership in the art and science of fly fishing and to provide better opportunities to pursue our sport. Our home waters are those of nearby French Creek, in beautiful northern Chester County. Our organization considers our aquatic resources to be of prime importance and actively works towards the preservation and improvement of the habitat of the streams we fish most often. The League is an affiliate member club of Fly Fishers International (FFI), headquartered in Bozeman, Montana and their Chesapeake Council. We meet on the last Monday of each month from September through April. Whether you are just learning to fly fish or are an experienced veteran, our programs are interesting and fun. The food trout eat are discussed by a trained aquatic ecologist using actual

samples taken from French Creek.

The course will be held from

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at

Warwick County Park-Pavilion 2,

181 County Park Rd., Pottstown,

PA on the banks of French Creek.

More information about the course

and directions will be sent to you

when we receive the registration

form and your check.

All equipment, a course manual, refreshments and lunch will be

provided. Children 17 and under

must be accompanied by a

responsible adult. Registration

includes membership in the League

through December 31.

A Certified Casting Instructor from Fly Fishers International in Bozeman, Montana will be teaching the fly casting

portion of the program.
