Do you ever wonder why you understand material in class but can’t do it when you get home? Do you sometimes wonder why you understand it at home but don’t do well on your test? Do you ever stop to think about why learning math can be so different than learning other subjects? Do you know why you get nervous when taking math tests? The answers to these questions and many more are not magical but are in fact based on the development of excellent mathematics study skills. The Dolciani Mathematics Learning Center is pleased to announce a new series of workshops in Mathematics Study Skills. This is a fiveweek program meeting one hour per week. Sessions are conducted by senior staff members in the Center with backgrounds in mathematics education and/or counseling and more than 25 years experience working with collegelevel students. Specific examples tied to your course will be used so you can use the information in your current math class and be successful. Do you ever wonder why you understand material in class but can’t do it when you get home?  Do you
