In the Marines, the Naval Academy, the criminal courts of Oregon, private sector business, the Oregon Legislature, and in three elections Wally Hicks has shown leadership and wisdom. He is the right man to unite the Oregon Republican Party within itself and with Republicans in the Oregon Legislature to win victories in 2016. In order to succeed, politically and financially, the Oregon Republican Party must avoid inter-nal dissension and create winning electoral programs. Wally Hicks is a leader of great integrity with a record of successful accomplishment.

Bruce Broussard ‒ Oregon Republican Party Vice-ChairBruce served 10 years as a Marine, including tours

in Vietnam. He served 3 years in the Oregon National Guard, and 3 years as President of the Buffalo Soldiers Association of America. He was educated at Texas South-ern University, Portland State University, Northrup Aero-nautical Technology Institute, Los Angeles City College, and in Marine Corps Electronics Schools.

He has worked in government on the Metro Solid Waste Advisory Board, Governor’s State Business Task Force, White House Small Business Conference, Solid Waste Recycling Board, Multnomah County Charter Re-view Board, Urban Forestry Commission, and City Pub-lic Utility Review Board and was appointed by Governor Atia to the Oregon Small Business Committee.

He has served his community in the Boys and Girls Clubs, as McCoy Academy Board Chair, Martin Luther King Scholarship Fund, United Way, NAACP, Veterans of

Foreign Wars, Urban League, Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association, the Buffalo Soldiers, City Club of Portland, and the Kiwanis.

His business experience includes Loan Officer of US Bank, sales at IBM, and owner of CAD-TEX Community Relations, and of USA Waste Management Systems. He has also worked as a building devel-oper, having built a senior citizen’s complex in Portland and Tri-County Neighborhood Housing. Bruce is presently owner and publisher of the Oregon Voter’s Digest and former publisher of the Portland Observer and is a popular Radio and Television TV Talk Show Host.

A longtime participant in Oregon Republican politics, in 2014 Bruce ran as a candidate for Multnomah County District 2 Commissioner and served as Engagement Chair of the Oregon Republican Party.

Bruce and his close co-workers are greatly respected throughout the Multnomah County African-American community and in the Hispanic, Asian, and other Oregon minority communities with which they have worked extensively. They understand how to break down the artificial political barriers that have been erected by unprincipled politicians to divide Americans from one another.

“The Oregon Republican Party is extraordinarily fortunate to have the opportunity to be represented by these four outstanding Christian Americans and their families. Their accom-plishments as they work together (Wally offers himself on the condition that all four are elected) for Republican candidates and values during the next two years will be ‒ I am certain ‒ a great credit to the Republican Party of Oregon.

“My family and I are delighted that our state Republican Party can be in the hands of these four Oregonians of excellence.” Art Robinson Chairman, Oregon Republican Party
