Reach South Sheffield – • 1 member of staff from our employment support programme, which helps people facing barriers finding or returning to work to secure employment. Our employment support workers assist with CV writing, job searching, job applications, interview preparation and overall job readiness. • 1 member of staff from the Pathways to Success project, which doesn’t purely focus on employment but all the steps leading up to employment. We assess the service user’s needs and aspirations, and then can support people to find relevant education and training, volunteering and we also have access to a variety of confidence building courses. It is aimed at people with complex and multiple barriers to employment, specifically people with mental health problems, learning disabilities or behavioural issues.

Sheffield Parenting Team – Sheffield City Council has developed a Parenting service which uses evidence based programmes delivered across the city. We have been through a journey to develop the current service and it is still developing. We have 17 Parenting Practitioners, 18 MAST staff with dedicated facilitation time and 8 Parent Group Leader Volunteers.

Specialist Health and Social Care Services (Shsc) - Provide a wide range of specialist health and social care services to improve the mental, physical and social wellbeing of the people living in our communities.

Spectrum E - Spectrum E offers specialist Disability Employment Support to sustain and progress at your workplace or an apprenticeship. We support people on the Autism Spectrum, Learning disabilities, ADHD. We also support people with physical disabilities.

St Wilfreds – St Wilfrid's Centre is a day centre open Mon - Fri 10am - 4pm for vulnerable and socially isolated people across Sheffield. We provide a safe space and a range of activities to promote social interaction, life skills, independence and wellbeing. Our welfare team signpost and liaise with other services appropriate to every individual's need.

Suit works – We are a free service to help unemployed men and women of all ages to succeed at interview by building confidence and self esteem through personal styling. Clients referred to us will be given a styling session and an appropriate outfit to wear for their interview. The service is free to use and everyone gets to keep their outfits

Together Women – Sheffield Together Women Project provides holistic and gender-specific support to vulnerable women across the city of Sheffield. The centre has a women-only facility in the heart of Sheffield that offers a safe and welcoming place for women to engage in meaningful support and community services, all under one roof.

Voluntary Action Sheffield New Beginnings – This Project helps Refugees and Asylum Seekers to access support and information on education, volunteering and Employment opportunities. We are based in Sheffield City Centre, just off Division Street

CAB – free advice from Citizens Advice to help you find a way forward, whatever the problem.

Shelter - Shelter is a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessness and bad housing in England

The Animal Farm is based in Graves Park, Sheffield’s largest park and is one of the busiest park attractions with over 250,000 visitors per year. The Farm looks after rare and domestic breeds of farm and small animals.

We are seeking to appoint a worker with enthusiasm and self-motivation that has experience in this specialised area of work, who will be an asset to this well focused and enthusiastic team.

You will have and be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of animal husbandry, to include poultry and waterfowl encompassing stock control and experience of breeding programmes. You will be expected to contribute towards providing a high level of animal welfare. You will be able to positively represent the Animal Farm in order to maximise visitor experience. You will work towards maintaining income streams including the Farm Shop and promote great customer service at both the Farm and at events held throughout the City.You will be expected to work on your own initiative and assist a small team of volunteers on occasion at some of our satellite sites in Sheffield. Organisational, communication skills and the ability to produce and maintain accurate records are also essential.

The course is open to 16 - 25 year olds and is a life changing 12 week adventure. The Prince’s Trust Team programme is based in Dearne Fire Station, Barnsley (Cudworth) and Sheffield (Parkway) Fire Station, the young people will get involved in team building activities, a week-long residential trip away to the Peak District, a community project and two weeks of work experience during the course. The end of every programme is celebrated with a final presentation in the Town Hall that each programme is tied to. The young people can then present themselves and show their family and friends the journey they have been on and how far they have come. Our programme is without doubt leading the way for its content and delivery and we hope to be able to offer this throughout the South Yorkshire region within the next 12 months. Offering these fantastic opportunities to many more young people in our region for many years to come. Work Experience Open Day at Woodhouse Jobcentre – Prospect House, Market Street, Sheffield S13 7QX.At the Event there will be a 10-15 minute presentation giving you the information about Work Experience placement. After you can talk to the employers on site and get details about the opportunities that are available and sign up to them

Rosebank Care Home (S4)

Various Full and part time positions

Senior Night Carer –Experienced and confident to cover night shifts and administer medications. 3 x 12 hour shifts 8pm – 8am, total 36 hours £8.21 per hour with £3 per night shift allowance.

Part time Night Carer – Experience preferred but not essential. 2 x 12 hour shifts 8pm – 8am total 24 hours. £8.21 per hour

Part time Activity Co-ordinator – Evidence of ability to plan and deliver activities. 3 x 6 hours total 18 hours. Days to be arranged but will include alternate weekends. £8.21 per hour.

Part –time Administrator – To undertake the day to day administration related to the running of the home. 16 hours per week to be negotiated to suit. £8.21 per hour
