CONTEMPORARY ADULT CONDOMINIUM LIVING

NOW AVAILABLE

Plan Number 7-4-955MODERN HOME

WITH CHARMThis two-storey, four-

bedroom home not only exudes plenty of charm, it contains all the ameni-ties that today’s modern families expect.

The front door, tucked under a covered porch to one side of the house, is embellished with mul-lioned side lights. To the left of the compact foyer is a den, featuring french doors that open onto a covered porch bordered by a painted railing that adds elegance to the facade.

Just beyond the den, a coat cupboard and pow-der room are situated for

easy use by both family and visitors.

Ahead, past an L-shaped flight of stairs on the right, is the spa-cious great room, where a gas fireplace will warm this room as well as the open-plan dining room and kitchen.

Natural light will flood into both the dining room and the great room through large windows. Near the windows, a nar-row part of both rooms is open to the floor above. These rooms also enjoy access to a terrace over-looking the back garden, an ideal spot for summer-time meals and relax-ation.

The kitchen is sepa-

rated from the other two rooms by an angled counter that conceals the dishwasher. A win-dow over the sink will provide a garden view for the cook, and a large pantry guarantees always-welcome storage space.

The laundry room, situated a few short steps from the kitchen, has access to the double garage, easing the task of carrying the groceries from the car. A coat cup-board is nearby.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is situated at the back of the home for privacy. A large walk-in closet will provide enough space for even

the most clothes-con-scious couple. The cor-ner windows will let light into the ensuite, which includes a soaker tub and a shower stall.

The second, third and fourth bedrooms each contain one special fea-ture — a built-in desk in one, a window seat in another and a walk-in closet in yet another. These bedrooms share a three-piece bathroom. A linen closet is conve-niently placed nearby.

Exterior finishes include shingled gables, horizontal siding, pilas-ters with brick bases, painted trim and decora-tive woodwork. Second-storey windows are part-ly mullioned.

This home measures 40 feet wide and 52 feet, six inches deep, for a total of 2,173 square feet. Plans for an unfinished basement are included.

Plans for design 7-4-955 are available for $755 (set of 5), $860(set of 8) and $944 for a super set of 10. Also add $30.00 for Priority charges within B.C. or $55.00 outside of B.C. Please add 12% H.S.T., 13% H.S.T. Or 5% G.S.T (where applicable) to both the plan price and Priority charges.

Our 45TH Edition of the Home Plan Catalogue containing over 300 plans is available for $15.50 (includes taxes, postage and handling). Make all cheque and money orders payable to “Jenish House Design Ltd.” and mail to:

The Consumer Protection Division of the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA) is informing the public about a potential scam aimed at child care pro-viders in Saskatchewan.

The Ministry of Education has been made aware of two cases of attempted fraud of two Saskatoon child care providers. Both instan-ces have been reported to police.

In each of these cases, the child care provid-ers were advertising an available child care space when they received an email from a parent

requesting the space be held for their child. The parent claimed to be out of the country and wanted to act quickly to secure a spot for their child. In each case, the parent sent a cheque to save the spot. The cheque was for more money than was required. When the provider brought the overpayment to the attention of the parent, the parent asked the pro-vider to cash the cheque and wire the overpay-ment back. The provider would cash the cheque, wire the overpayment, and then be informed that the cheque was

counterfeit and have to return the money.

Overpayment scamsare common and havebeen used to victimize a number of service pro-viders including land-lords.

If you suspect fraud, contact the nearest police service, the CanadianAnti-Fraud Centre or theCompetition Bureau. The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre has more infor-mation about overpay-ment scams and ways to protect yourself at www.antifraudcentre-centre-antifraude.ca/english/recognizeit-advfeefraud-over.html.
