How to reach someone for Christ

w Pray (stay connected to God)

God guides us through prayer.

Acts 8:26

Prayer opens doors to present the Gospel.

w Pursue (get connected to others)

Pursue others relentlessly.

• Start where they are at.

• Get invited into the conversation about spiritual things.

w Persuade (start connecting others to Christ)

Don’t be afraid to persuade!

• The Greek word “peitho” is used 8 times in the New Testament in connection with evangelism. “Peitho” means “to make friends of, to win one’s favor, gain one’s good will, or to seek to win one.”

Persuade them to:

Acts 8:36-39

• Accept Christ

v The eunuch believed

• Belong to a church

vThe eunuch was baptized

• Commit to THE Cause

vThe eunuch took the gospel to Africa

Let’s train our students to begin to pray for, pursue and persuade their friends.
