Remarks to the above are as under:, '

Goods traffic is expeCted to increase in view of the steelplants coming up inthe West of Tumkur.

Besides the above, it wilt enable introducing MEMU services betweenBangalore- Tumkt.ir on which section there is heavy commuter traffic.
