    Te Pou DWD Grant funding update

    Theleadership developmentandconsumer leadership developmentgrants will be open for one last round in 2012. Appl

    will be accepted from 8 October 2012 until 2 November 2012 for learning activities which will start in 2012. Please note

    given the tight timeframe, the closing date will be strictly adhered.

    See our website for information onpriority topicsand for details of theapplication process.

    This is 2012 grant funding so applications from organisations who have not yet received the maximum amounts will be

    prioritised, however we may still be able to consider other applications.

    2012 applications fortraining grantsare still open but will close within the next two months. Training grants are availab

    assist employers with costs arising from their employee's participation in a Ministry of Health approved national certific

    diploma.

    Please speak to your regional facilitator about the 'start date' and 'end date' requirements for each grant.

    Duties

    1. Take bookings for the house, via telephone, email or personally

    2. Keep diary record of bookings made ensuring that there are no clashes

    3. Provide and accept return of keys from clients, either individuals or groups, who have booked the use o

    house, either on a regular basis or on off bookings.

    4. Arrange reception and banking of financial bond(s) from new clients and provide manual receipt to clie

    Arranging of return of bond at end of contract.

    5. Keep simple accounts recording all transactions using computer programmes provided

    6. Liaise with member(s) of Albany CoCo Board updating them of any issues relevant to the house.

    7. Provide a warm welcome to everyone using Albany House

    8. Ensure house is kept clean and tidy and that groups leave the house in which the state which they foun

    liaising with cleaner to ensure cleaning done to accepted standard

    9. Prepare and submit report(s) to Auckland Council regarding usage of Albany house.

    Skills Required

    1. Elementary computing skills: emails, word processing (word)

    2. Keeping legible diary of all using Albany house

    3. Basic financial skills

    4. Able to prepare simple reports using a good standard of English.

    Personal Attributes

    1. Warm personable manner

    2. Legible handwriting

    3. Good organisational skills

    4. Good standard of English and Maths.
