Messages Manage and organize trading activity with broker and trading counterparts with the Main, Message and Activity Consoles.

MANAGING YOUR CONTACTS

All your contacts – including ones

outside the YJ Network - are

consolidated and displayed in the Main

Console.

Adding Contacts:

1. To add a contact, click “ADD+” at the

bottom of the Main Console.

2. Enter the contact's YellowJacket,

AIM or Yahoo username in the

appropriate field. (You may include

more than one IM service for each

contact. YJ will initially connect via

the YJ network, then subsequently

the other networks).

3. Also enter the contact’s nickname (if

applicable), first and last names and

e-mail address.

TIP: To send an email from YJ, right-click

on the contact and select “Email

Contact”.

Want to re-organize your contacts? Click and drag contacts into the

appropriate folder.

Messages from Contacts not on your list:

1. When someone not on your contact list attempts to

make contact, YJSHelp (YellowJacket’s Help Desk) will

notify you with the contact’s information and the

message transmitted. To add this contact, click the “Add

Contact” link that appears. You may also choose to block

a contact to prevent further messages. Note that you can

only unblock a contact by adding it to your contact list.

You will receive a popup in the lower right corner of your

screen for new messages. Your tab will also highlight yellow

when a new message appears.

Turn messages pop-ups on or off by clicking the “VIEW”

button at the bottom of the Main Console.

You can also turn off message notifications for an individual
