You will have some choice and some control over the subjects you study in year 9

You study fewer subjects but for more lessons – in depth learning

Remember choices have consequences You need to research to make the right

choices for now and the future

Core Year 9 Curriculum

All students will study a core curriculum of:

English Maths Science Lang RS/Czship/

ICT

PE Geo-graphy

History

Options: 4 lessons a fortnight

You will select 3 of these subjects on your options form and will study 2 of them

Speak to subject area teachers, PTL and tutors Review your progress in these subjects Attend Parents Evening/Options Evening on

Wednesday 19th March with your parents Collect your personalised Options Form Make sure you see one of the presentations on

how to make your choices Complete your form and hand it in on time to

tutors
