First, we need to find the length of
the sides of the hexagon. As it is a
regular hexagon, we know that we
can divide 42cm by 6.
42cm 6cm = 7cm
We can now find the perimeter of
the shape by counting the number
of sides and multiplying by 7.
7cm x 14 = 98cm
The perimeter of the shape is
98cm.

First, we need to find out how much as quarter of a tin
of paint weighs by subtracting 3.1 from the weight of
half a tin of paint.
5.8g - 3.1g = 2.7g
We then need to subtract the weight of a quarter of a
tin from 3.1g.
3.1g - 2.7g = 0.4g The empty tin weighs 0.4g.
We first need to find out the
number of degrees in each
section by dividing 360
degrees by 5.
360 5 = 72
Each of the section
measures 72 degrees.
B and C total 144 degrees
1/2 of A and D = 72
degrees.
The arrow has moved
through 216 degrees.
