In today’s lesson you are going to be looking at the present perfect tense. So what actually

is the present perfect tense?

Past tense = activities that started in the past and finished in the past.

Present perfect tense= activities that started in the past but are still happening now or

have an effect on what is happening now.

A/R and P/A- Read through the PowerPoint on present perfect tense that has been uploaded to the y3

Les Fruits

Bonjour tout le monde!

This week we are going to be practising some reading.

I’d like you to look at the description of a bowl of fruit and draw a picture that matches the description.

1. First of all, have a listen to the fruit song: Les Fruits (Alain le Lait) to remind yourself of the fruit words and their pronunciation.

(You might have chosen to listen to it when it was in my virtual classroom).

2. Look at the description on the next page, of what fruit is in the bowl. Can you pick out the fruit words? Underline them with a ruler.

3. Think about the numbers words. How many of each fruit are there? 4. Draw the contents of the fruit bowl that match the description.

If you can’t print off the sheet just draw the bowl of fruit on some paper or in your notebook and add some labels. You can draw some fruit at the side of the bowl if you can’t fit it all in.

5. Colour in your picture!
