Year 11 and 12PATHWAYS
Choosing the correct pathway into Year 11 and 12 is one of the most important decisions for students and their families to make.
The pathways available to students have evolved considerably over the last few years in schools and Mater Dei College now offers a variety of pathways to meet the individual needs of all students at the school.
A pathway choice for students entering Year 11 should be recognised as a two year proposition through until the end of Year 12. In choosing the correct pathway it is imperative
that the following is taken into account, as it relates to the individual student;
• Enhancement and protection of a student’s well-being.• Skills and abilities.• Interests, passions and dislikes. • Future aspirations.• Work ethic.• Level of commitment required.• Attainment of The Western Australian Certificate
of Education (WACE).
Choosing a viable path to the future
