Year 1 Home Learning English- Reread the story of Little Red Riding Hood. (if you do not have your own version of this book at home there are lots of story resources available on Twinkl). 1) Create a story map that helps you remember the story in order and also shows you the key moments in the text. 2) Draft your own version of the original Little Red Riding Hood Story. Challenge yourself to use the adjectives you used last week to describe your characters. Challenge yourself to use: Time Adverbs e.g Next, After, Then. Use these to give variety to your sentence openers. Conjunctions e.g because, however, but This will extend their sentences. Try writing one paragraph a day throughout the week.
