Yoga and Neurosciences:
Traditions and Research Approaches
Yoga which took its roots in India has spread its branches all over the world and
has benefited millions of people around the globe. To understand how this has
been possible, we need to approach yoga as a science and not just a mystical practice.
The aim of this conference is to bring forward all the traditions of yoga to an international
platform, understand the science behind it, and communicate this to other sciences as well.
In the backdrop of the 6th International Day of Yoga in 2020, the NIMHANS Integrated
center for yoga, NIMHANS, Bengaluru is conducting a two day international conference
titled “Yoga And Neuro-sciences : Traditions And Research Approaches” -YANTRA 2020.

methodology in Yoga and Meditation, funding opportunities, as well as the
status of the ongoing DST funded projects. Preference will be given to
current grant recipients as well as prospective Yoga research applicants.

1. Only registered delegates are allowed to submit the abstract
for paper or poster.
2. The abstract for the paper/poster needs to be structured
(background, aims, methods, results and conclusion) and within 250 words.
3. All abstracts are to be submitted in English, Times New Roman font,
Title font size 14, content font size 12, spacing 2.0.
4. All abstracts must be submitted via the conference website ONLY.
5. Last date for submission of Abstracts is 31st January, 2020
Note : Same for SAARC and other countries (same amount converted dollars for
other countries)
*Student should have institutional ID with validity dates or should get a letter
from Head of Institution mentioning that he/she is a bonafide student of the institution
