Still the lightest 200-hp four stroke on the water, Yamaha’s F200 has become a performancefavourite in the in-line four family of outboards. Yamaha now adds the new DEC-controlled20-inch shaft F200 for even greater versatility.

The addition rounds out the F200 lineup, which now includesboth mechanical or digital electronic controls in 20- and 25-inchshaft lengths to suit the needs of an even wider variety ofmid-sized craft.

But there’s more than versatility that makes the F200 the in-linefour all-star. The 2.8-litre 16-valve DOHC powerhead is naturallyaspirated for less complexity and better fuel economy (uses 89octane) and has the most favourable power-to-weight ratio of anyfour-stroke 200-hp outboard.

It also is equipped with Yamaha's Variable Camshaft Timing forpower, performance, and incredible throttle response, particularlyin the 2,000 to 4,000 rpm range. And a rapid-build 50-amp alternatorprovides plenty of power for today's modern array of electronics.

Couple these features with Yamaha's exclusive Shift Dampener System-equipped Reliance propeller and the smooth, precise shifting of Yamaha'sDEC digital electronic controls, and you have all the benefits of proven,powerful F200 performance right at your fingertips.
