Yahveh is our righteousnessOn another journey, brother was told that he had to stay on ramp. Had to wait it out. Another hitcherthere: He had been drinking, was speaking loudly He was near the brother.Brother was concerned didnt look like a good situation. But Elohiym got him out pretty quick. Then gotto main highway. Many cars with license plates that had the name of the place where he was heading.Situtation looked good but he ended up waiting 24 hours Finally he got broken enough Why was this happening? Made him examine self. Opened scriptures andsaw:

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion onwhom I will have compassion. So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of Elohiymthat sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised theeup, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Romans 9:15-17- Sometimes our thinking can be wrong.

D It is Elohiym that worketh in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippans 2:13). Knowingthat it is Him being merciful to us to deal with us, cause us to do things.

Brother has tried to apply this more. A young man said to brother A preacher said that it was not usseeking Him, but He sought us His mercy to draw us.

1 Corinthians 4:6,7 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and [to] Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think [of men] above that which is written, that no one of yoube puffed up for one against another. For who maketh thee to differ [from another]? and what hast thouthat thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received [it]? No good thing in us It is Els mercy. He is the source of the good things we do.

Proverb 3:7-10 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear Yahveh, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Honour Yahveh with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thineincrease: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. Be not righteous over much. (Ecclesiastes 7:16)As we honor Yahveh with our substance,* our presses will burst out with new wine.

Ecclesiastes 7:16 Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thoudestroy thyself? We receive righteousness of Him.

Ecclesiastes 7:18 [It is] good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thinehand: for he that feareth Elohiym shall come forth of them all. Really fear Yahveh in this (giving glory to Him)will come forth of them all.

Going on and applying it - the way we think about ourselves.Pride the root of it: has to do with how we think about ourselves.

    * (Give glory to Him for the things we receive from Him.)
