Visit our Nature Interpretive Center, nestled amongst a 275-acre forest
containing habitats unique to New York City and over 160 species of
birds. We teach hands-on environmental education programming for NYC
schools, camps, and after school groups in order to connect students to
nature and foster stewardship of our local environment.

Our hours are Tuesdays - Saturdays, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. We schedule class trips
using the DoE bus service on Wednesdays - Fridays, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Booking a Field Trip
Classroom teachers, scout leaders, and clubs may book private programs with us.
School groups must bring a minimum of 20 students during DoE class trip hours.
We can accommodate a maximum of 75 students at a time during warm weather and
40 students at a time during the colder months.
