Did you know that the Corona-Norco Family YMCA is helping children and families weather the economic storm? Every day we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. The Y now operates eight program sites with a continuum of care for children in the Corona-Norco and Jurupa Valley Unified School Districts ages 18 months to high school. We are always looking for support from our community. Merrill We have had a lot of fun this week. This will be our last full week of school. We had a Hat Day on Monday. The children wore their favorite hat. Tuesday was interesting to see the children wear their favorite Disney characters. Wednesday was Get Wet Day. If you passed by Merrill on that day you would have seen teachers and children teachers getting wet outside. I am not sure who had more fun the children or the teachers! Thursday we will have dress up as a Super Hero or a Princess. I am sure there will lots of Spider mans, Bat mans and other super heroes roaming around Merrill trying to save all of the Princesses in distress. Friday will be Pajama Day and the children will be watching Toy Story I. Monday we are hoping for nice weather because we will be having as picnic outside. Graduation is Tuesday at New Beginnings Church @ 12:30.

Al of the teachers at Merrill are sorry to see the school year end. We hope everyone has a good summer.
