WORKSHOP QUALITY PROCEDURES:

Assessment: All assessments will be conducted during the course. Assessment tasks consist of e.g: quizzes, practical discussions, case studies, role plays, on-site exercises, hands-on.

Certificates: Certificates will be awarded to the learners who

completed and pass in the assessments and who

completed at least 75% of the attendance report.

Course Language: English

Progress Reports: Progress and attendance reports will be sent to the

learner’s employer/individual learner indicating the

progress made towards the training objective.

PROGRAM TIMINGS

Registrations will begin at 08:00AM on Day One. The

program will commence at 08:30AM each day and continue until 15:30PM. There will be two refreshment breaks and

lunch at appropriate intervals.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The CMRP exam is available to any maintenance and

reliability professional, regardless of education

background or work experience. Candidates interested

in sitting for the CMRP must:

Complete and submit the CMRP application

Pay all applicable fees in advance

Not be convicted of a felony or other crime of moral turpitude

Not sit for the exam within six (6) months of previously taking the CMRP

Played key roles in overseeing Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA) grow from a capacity of 120,000 MTPA to one of the largest aluminum smelters in the world with a capacity in excess of 900,000 MTPA. A member of the Team who implemented the highly acclaimed and successful "east" Project at SHARQ Petrochemical Company, in Jubail, KSA, for the implementation of their Asset Management Work Process (AMWP). Implemented the AMWP program at Advanced Petrochemical Company in Jubail, KSA. Chairman of the Education Committee in GSMP. Imparted Training on various aspects of Reliability and Performance Enhancement Programs to GCC Organizations and Professionals. Graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham, UK in 1979.

COURSE OUTLINE This is a four day workshop designed to discuss and elaborate on the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professional (SMRP) Pillars of the Body of Knowledge to help the candidates come to terms with these Pillars. There are five pillars in the maintenance and reliability Body of Knowledge for professionals: Business and Management, Manufacturing Process Reliability, Equipment Reliability, Organization and Leadership, and Work Management. The critical knowledge, skills and abilities under each of

these pillars will be discussed in detail. Practice questions

will be also reviewed and discussed in a group discussion to

help participants get a sense of what the exam is like. In

addition, recommended readings will be covered in the

workshop.
