Registration Instructions: All 7th grade students will be scheduled into the following cluster of academic courses, taught within teams and grouped/regrouped as appropriate: Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Health/PE. Students may then choose from the elective courses listed below. Band, Orchestra, Yearbook, and H.S. Spanish are all yearlong courses and count as two semester electives. Required Courses: Students will be placed appropriately from the following list of required courses. Note: Students will be placed in Language Arts and Math classes according to the rubric shown on the reverse side of this form.

Electives: Students may choose 3 semester courses OR 1 yearlong and 1 semester course. Please number elective choices 1-5 in order of preference with “1” as the first choice. Choices are not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate placement in selected electives. *Please be aware that Health/PE is a required elective.

*Students must have taken Pre-Math I as a 6th grade student to meet the prerequisite criteria for Math I as a 7th grader. Please note that students taking Math I as a 7th grader will take Math II as an 8th grader. Math I and Math II both have an EOC (End of Course Test) worth 20% of the final grade. However, these grades do not count towards their high school GPA.
