HOW TO COOK & CLEAN - Ceramcor - Xtrema Products Cooking with Xtrema How to Clean Stove Top - Low & Slow Use low to low-medium heat settings. Only use medium-high heat for boiling water. It may take a few extra minutes for the Xtrema cookware surface to become fully heated. Once it reaches the proper temperature, reduce the heat to a lower setting, because the Xtrema cookware will retain heat for a longer period of time. Cooking Eggs When frying or scrambling eggs in Xtrema, use a low heat setting for 3 minutes to warm the cooking surface of your skillet. Once the cooking surface is heated, then spray the entire cooking surface of your skillet with your favorite oil before turning the burner temperature to a medium setting. It will take a little practice and patience but in a week or two you will become an expert at cooking with our Xtrema ceramic cookware. Xtrema cookware and teapots are easy to clean and do not stain or retain odors like metal and plastic cookware. Clean Xtrema cookware & teapots just like you would metal cookware. Do not pour cold water onto a hot Xtrema pot to clean - use hot or warm water. You can use Soft Scrub, Bon Ami, Comet, Ajax and Baking Soda along with an SOS and Brillo steel wool pads as well as nylon scrubbers and sponges on the inside and outside of your Xtrema cookware. To remove gray metal marks from the cooking surface, use dry baking soda and a dry Brillo or SOS pad and rub vigorously until the metal marks are removed. Do not worry! Any piece of cookware or teapot with a visible manufacturing defect showing a cracked, chipped, or unglazed surface area will be replaced, without charge, within 30 days from date of purchase. Ceramcor will replace that item for free. You only have to e-mail a photo of the defective product along with your purchase receipt to our Customer Service department to receive a replacement item. Xtrema ceramic material retains heat for a long time, so please handle with care.

Use pot holders when handling hot Xtrema cookware & teapots.

Place hot Xtrema cookware & teapots on a heat resistant placemat or trivet, as retained heat could damage kitchen counter top surfaces.

Ceramic SurfaceBecause our Xtrema ceramic material is so hard, we recommend that you do not slide your Xtrema cookware on any glass top stove or kitchen counter top.

Thermal CareDo not place a hot Xtrema cookware on a cold granite countertop or cold glass top burner. It is best to place hot Xtrema cookware products on a wooden cutting board.

Do not take an Xtrema product from the freezer directly onto the stove. Let it thaw first.
