I also have a presentation at AERA on a research topic related to on line discussion.
Tuesday, 10:30 - Swissotel Chicago, room: Vevey, 3rd floor: Adolescents’ Motivation to Read What Kids Tell Us/What Teachers Do: Is There Common Ground?
I will be attending and presenting at the AERA Conference. My roundtable is on Wednesday morning; I'll be representing the journal for which I am editor, Early Childhood Education Journal (published by Springer). My plans are to arrive on Tuesday and leave early Thursday morning.
I have two symposia at AERA with my colleague, Maria Varelas on our NSF-sponsored integrated science-literacy research: Tuesday, April 10, 8:15-9:45 on Dialogic Discourse Practices and Friday, April 13, 10:35-12:05 on Narrative Identities.
starting Saturday, April 7 through Tuesday, April 10. The presentation my colleague Janet Crickmer and I are doing is at 8 in the morning, and my return flight leaves at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, so if she gets there relatively early Tuesday, surely we could find a time to touch base if she wishes. My wife and I will be staying in the Sheraton Towers, one of the conference hotels. My cell number is 804-239-5226.
