If your product is making an organic product claim (e.g. "organic soap" or "organic shampoo," then it must be certified to the USDA's National Organic Program standard at the Organic/95% level. If you product is making a "Made with organic _____" claim, such as "Made with organic essential oils," then the product must be certified to the USDA's NOP standard at the Made with Organic/70% level. If you product is making a "Contains organic ingredients" claim, then it must be certified to the NSF 305 standard. If you use "organic" as part of the brand name, then the product must be certified to one of the standards noted above. Nutri-Fact vs. Supp-Factl All food items should have either Nutritional Fact panel or Supplement Fact panel to show the analyzed contect of the given item.l These panels determine how the item is taxed, and it also affect if the item can be pruchased by food stemp (EBT).l Please see the "Nutri-Fact vs. Supp-Fact" tab for example images of the panels.
