    Shanghai, Xian,

    Lhasa, Shanghai, (7 days)

    April 915, 2012

    Day 1 (Apr 9) SHANGHAI / XIAN (SD)

    After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and taken to the

    Maglev station, where you will take the Shanghai MaglevTrain (high

    speed train) to Pudong International Airport for your flight to Xian.

    Xian is the cradle ofChinese civilization. Xian was the state capital for 73emperors, spanning 11 dynasties lasting over 2,000 years. One of Chinas

    most prosperous times in history was the spectacular Tang Dynasty (619907 AD), during which Xian was the capital. As the eastern terminus of the

    Ancient Silk Road, Xian was the most important international metropolis in

    middle Asia; attracting businessmen, traders, scholars and students from all

    over the world.

    This afternoon, you will enjoy the ancient city wall of Xian. Get a feelingfor this medieval metropolis as you stand on top of the old City Wall,enjoying the fabulous birds-eye view.

    Then you will visit the Great Mosque. Xian is also famous for its Muslim

    population and influence! Your next stop will be at Xi'an's famous GreatMosque, which is still active and always impresses people with its authenticreligious architecture! The bazaar that you walk through to get to the Great

    Mosque is full of Muslim venders selling their arts and crafts!

    Tonight, you will enjoy the famous Dumpling Banquet!

    You will stay overnight atBell Tower Hotel, a 4* hotel, located by the BellTower and the public square.

    Day 2 (Apr 10) XIAN (B, L, SD)

    This morning, you are going to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda; still an

    active temple and the symbol of Xian.

    In the afternoon you are going to visit one of the most stunning sites in the

    world, the life-sized Terra-Cotta Warrior Army. An underground terra-cotta army buried to protect the legendary first Emperor of China, Qin

    Shihuang during his afterlife. While in awe of those eight thousand life-sized

    soldiers, officers, horses and wagons dating from the third century BC, it

    will be hard to believe that this wonder was accidentally discovered by a

    farmer while he was digging out a well in the early 1970s! If you are lucky,

    you will also see some archaeologists still working the site to uncover

    another part of the vast tomb complex built by first emperor in Chinesehistory!

    Tonight, you are going to have a feast while enjoying the dazzling TangDynasty Cultural Show featuring music, dance, and colorful traditionalTang costumes!

    Day 3 (Apr 11) XIAN/ LHASA (B, D)

    This morning, you will catch the flight to Lhasa. Welcome to the Roof of theWorld!

    Stay overnight at the nice 4 star hotel:Tibet Hotel.

    The rest of the day will be free at leisure to rest. Dinner will be at your hotel

    to allow an easier transition to the high altitude.

    Day 4 (Apr 12) LHASA (B, L)

    Visit Potala Palace, the landmark of Lhasa, the power center of Tibet andthe seat of the Dalai Lama! You will see the Jokhang Temple, the mostfamous and oldest building in Lhasa. Jokhang Temple is linked to the

    beautiful love story between Tibetan King Songzangganbo and Chinese

    Princess Wencheng. You will also visit Barkhor Street, the business centerof Lhasa, where you can get your unique Tibetan souvenirs.

    The rest of the day is free at leisure.

    Day 5 (Apr 13) LHASA (B, L, SD)

    A full day tour including Norbulinka, the Summer Palace of the Dalai Lama;a Tibetan Hospital, where you will get an inside look at traditional TibetanMedicine and its long history.

    Then you will drive to Trupeng Hill to visit Trupeng Monastery, which isone of four great Gelupa monasteries in Tibet.

    Tonight you will enjoy a Tibetan Special Dinner.

    Day 6 (Apr 14) LHASA / CHENGDU / SHANGHAI (B)

    This morning, you will be picked up by your guide and fly to Shanghai via

    Chengdu (Just As Note: theres no direct flight between Lhasa and Shanghai,

    so you will need to connect at Chengdu airport)

    You will be picked up by the guide in Shanghai and taken to your hotel:

    Best Western New Century Hotel.

    Day 7 (Apr 15) SHANGHAI / US (B)

    After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel to the airport for your

    flight home.

    B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner and SD = Special Dinner (Tang

    Dynasty Dinner Show, Tibetan Special Dinner, etc).

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Reservation and Payment

    Reservations can be made by letter, email or fax.

    DEPOSIT: 30% payment per person required by Oct 1, 2011 to confirm booking.

    FINAL PAYMENT: Final payment is due Dec 1, 2011.

    Responsibility1. JIAs Dream Tours acts only in the capacity of an agent for purveyors of transportation, sightseeing and hotelaccommodation. All coupons, receipts and tickets issued by JIAs Dream Tours are subject to the terms and conditionsstipulated by the suppliers. JIAs Dream Tours shall be exempt from any liability for loss or damage to property, injury ofperson, accidents, delays, irregularities or other occurrences beyond its control. Neither will it be responsible for anychange in itinerary, hotels or transport station schedule and losses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances.

    2. Tour prices are subject to change. JIAs Dream Tours reserves the right to adjust the listed price at any time for anyreason. However we will not adjust prices once the tour has been confirmed and payment has been made.

    3. Should political upheaval, bad weather conditions or like arise, local agents conducting the tour reserve the right to alte r

    the itinerary, as necessary. Any additional expenses incurred shall be charged to the participants.

    4. Participants should strictly abide by the laws and regulations promulgated by the government of the People's Republicof China, including but not limi ted to Immigration and Customs Laws and Regulations. JIAs Dream Tours will not beresponsible for any and all penalties due to any participant's violation of laws or regulations of the government of thePeople's Republic of China.

    5. Participant is not allowed to change the confirmed itinerary, including transportation, hotel, meals and sightseeing. Anyextra charge or loss incurred due to such change should be borne by the participant.

    Claims and RefundsIf you have any complaints during your holiday, please inform your local guide or our specified local representative or thesuppliers immediately of the situation so that we may promptly attend to the matter. Failure to promptly notify us of yourcomplaint may reduce or eliminate any compensation that may be payable. In case where a satisfactory remedy is notachieved, you must submit a written complaint to JIAs Dream Tours within fourteen days from the end of yourtour. Complaints received by JIAs Dream Tours will be acted upon promptly and fairly within the terms of these

    conditions. Except for verifiable extenuating circumstances refunds are not made for any missed tour services. Anyadjustment considered will be based on the actual cost of the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustmentswill not be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. JIAs Dream Tours will not accept liability for any claims that arenot received within14 days of the termination of your tour.

    Cancellation and Refund PolicyJIAs Dream Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to its departure for any reason.

    International Airfare is non-refundable.

    The tour is non-refundable. JIAs Dream Tours highly recommends Travel Insurance to protect your investment.

    No refund will be made to those participants who leave while the tour is in progress, regardless of the portions of thepackage unused.

    No refund will be made to those participants who have failed to secure valid travel documents or visas for China.
