The XT9000 utilizes exhaust air flow from the fan of the cooling tower to spin the blades of the unit.

Utilizing Power One Aurora Grid Tie Inverter with our patented permanent magnet and stator system generator, the XT9000 system produces electrical power that can be reintroduced back to the electrical grid.

Why a System Upgrade?

As a result of the added resistance created by the extra set of fan blades of the XT9000 the airflow speed reduces and the static pressure within the cooling tower increases.

This reduces the air mass flow rate which results in a significant decrease in actual fan motor energy power consumption

The slower speed in airflow may result in a minor “fractional” increase in condenser water delta temperature to the chiller.

The slight, inconsequential, minor increase in temperature difference can be off-set by increasing the leaving chilled water temperature proportionately resulting improved performance of the chiller and some additional energy cost savings.

How is it Environmental Friendly?

Less electrical energy required may result in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and a

lower carbon footprint.

As a result of the slower speed of fan a significant number of water droplets that are usually expelled into the air are retrieved thus resulting in a reduced

make up water requirement and an increase in water usage efficiency.
