AGRO CENTRIC URBAN DESIGN INTERVENTION AT DWARKA METRO STATION 2009

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The urban design intervention for this academic year was centered around the once lifeline of the city Delhi the nallahs or the natural rain water courses. The study began by tracing the origin of the water course back in time. These intensive research was then seen in the light of some of the finest interventions in water front development. The urban design intervention proposed here was on the confluence of urban and rural setting which gave us an opportunity to exploit this for the maximum to our design intervention. The design was an Agro Centric Urban Rural hub which brings the two together. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
