Hotware, Inc. Taipei Taiwan, has announced commercial availability of X-LIN-Powerline MDU, its broadband solution for multi-dwelling-unit (MDU) buildings. The innovative solution delivers high-speed broadband access through the building's existing electrical network and is part of Hotwares Total Solution(TM) portfolio. When combined with Hotwares Fixed wireless 2.4Ghz/5Ghz, TDMA or WiMAX solutions for backhaul, Powerline MDU can provide affordable, always-on Internet connectivity access through standard power outlets.

X-LIN POWERLINE• The X-LIN-Powerline MDU solution includes a Powerline MDU

MASTER which converts the Ethernet signal to a Powerline protocol and the signal is then injected directly into a building's electrical system for up to 500 Meters and has USER Isolation for ISP security deployment. Users can then connect their computer or router to a Hotware X-LIN- Powerline SLAVE modem that is plugged into a standard electrical outlet to gain access to the Internet. Each Master will support up to 64 Slaves per Group !
