DESCRIPTION
Produced during a Creative Projects Residency Grant at eMediaLoft.org, NYC, during the summer of 2014, "Party Everywhere" is a lively 20-pg artist’s book created from a poem by Jeffrey Cyphers Wright and illustrated by him with mixed-media image-collages of rubber stamps and photographed 3D objects from eMediaLoft placed over re-drawings of printed images found here too, inscribed on painted-over found wallpapers. The poem is a manifesto containing festive commands, quoted phrases and socio-political suggestions. The Technical Director for the book is Barbara Rosenthal, the Artist-in-Residence at eMediaLoft, whose 3D objects they are, and which allude to moments from her life and identity, many involving games.
