Surprise party for Mrs. Marcotte By MRS. ELSIE TROMBLEY
MINEVILLE — A surprise birthday party was held recently for Mrs. Doris Marcotte of Port Henry at the home of Mrs. Barbara PLtscofsky of Moriah.
Friends and relatives from out of town were Miss Daphne Shaw of Glens Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Putman of Ticon-deroga and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Amano of Tlconderoga.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert LaMotte of Mineville are parents of a daughter born recently at Moses Ludington Hospital, Ticonder-oga.

Keeseville Methodist Church sets concert
By ALBERTA
KEESEVILLE — Keeseville Methodist Church will host a Community Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Rev. Fr. Normand Cote, assistant pastor of St John the Baptist Church, Keeseville Rev. Fr. Robert Gatto, pastor, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Keeseville, and Rev. Burnham Waldo, pastor of Keeseville Methodist will assist in the ecumenical Christmas program.
The concert win feature sacred songs and carols of t h e Christmas season.
Keeseville Community Choral Group, Frank Tromblee, director, Keeseville Methodist and Baptist Joint Choir, Mrs . Charles Finley, director, and Harkness Methodist Y o u t h Choir under direction of Mrs. Roy Banker, will all take part in the concert.
