Pre-Opening Support
From the time you become part of the Wyndham
Hotel Group family through the opening of your
hotel, you will be assigned a Wyndham Hotel
Group professional who will be your main point
of contact to address any and all needs you have.
Whether you join us as a conversion from an
existing hotel or are a new construction development
project, our professionals have the experience
necessary to facilitate an efficient property
opening process.
During a conversion opening, we will support
you in all of your pre-opening needs, such as:
reviewing your punchlist, brand identification
requirements, insurance, and Property
Management Systems (“PMS”) requirements.
New Construction development projects work
with the Architecture, Design and Construction
Services team who will help guide you through
your project from start to finish with brand and
architectural expertise. Some services1 include:
• Delivery and support of engineered prototypical
design documents
• Identification and periodic review of critical
path milestones
• Assistance in sourcing construction services
and lending sources
• Project management services
• Architectural Services (i.e. – Site layouts,
exterior elevations, city plan reviews, etc.)
Operational Support
One of the many benefits Wyndham Hotel Group
offers is the support of its multi-level operations
team. This team consists of a headquarters-
based Operations Support Desk (“OSD”) and
Operations professionals located in the field1
as well as in the corporate headquarters. The
operations support team will be your point of
contact for any operational questions or concerns
you may have once your property opens. They
will provide you with the tools to help position
your property in the marketplace and positively
represent the brand. Some services include:
• Providing first, second and third levels of sup-
port on any operational issues that may arise
• Pro-Active outbound calls to inform of new
initiatives, upcoming events or deadlines
• Integration of new hotels and new owners
• Rate, inventory and systems consultation

hotel franchising in 1954. Today Howard Johnson
has over 470 hotels in North America, Latin

In North America, the brand operates predominantly

the brand includes mid-scale and upscale hotels.
