Weibring and Design Resource, Inc. completed the redesign of Sherrill Park Course 1 in 1997 and Course 2 in 2001. Course One (18-Hole)Course One is a championship design with narrow fairways lined by large trees. Course #1 has consistently been ranked in the top ten for municipal golf courses in the state of Texas.

Course Two (18-Hole) Course Two is shorter and features wide-open fairways. There are water hazards coming into play on many holes.

On the front, No. 5 is the toughest hole, going 433 yards with out-of-bounds on the right and a pond in the fairway at 200 yards from the tee. The approach must carry the bunker fronting the green. The back nine features two mean par 5s–Nos. 11 and 15. The 11th is a narrow dogleg with a small pond looming right of the green. No. 15 is under 500 yards but features the creek cutting the fairway and riding the right side of the hole.
