identify and find all the resources available to you, your staff, and your community on the NCTSN.org website.

• NCTSN.org is rich in content that will be helpful to your organization in becoming familiar with common terminology, identifying partnering agencies, keeping you updated of upcoming events, new resources, and other key materials.

• We update the website several times per week• New resources are always highlighted and are easy

to find

Core Concepts• Core Concepts reading Lists:• NCTSN.org has compiled comprehensive lists

that cover different trauma types, treatments that work, and many other topics which you will find helpful.

• These reading lists of research publications were compiled by experts in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. They include important recent work as well as classic books and articles on topics related to child traumatic stress by Network and other experts in the field. These lists will be updated periodically to remain current with research literature.

Your NCTSN Partners

• We have a listing of all your National Network Partner Centers which include:– Description and contact information for

NCTSN Partner Centers – Geographical location– Partner Status– Your organization will be added to the list of

Network sites along with your approved description.

Network Products

• We have a variety of state-of-the-art Network Products which were borne out of collaboration between sites.

• These products are readily available, many are print-ready, others are audio/visual, and most of them are free of charge

• They are easy to find, listed by audiences, e.g. Educators, General Public, Mental health Professionals, etc

Sustainability

• NCTSN.org has a dedicated section to help generate ideas and guide planning for sustaining and expanding child trauma services at NCTSN centers.

• Including:– A Sustainability Planning Framework – Sustainability Resources – Assistance with Grant Writing

Training Opportunities• NCTSN provides a number of educational opportunities for

Network members, their partners, and others. A full catalog of the training presentations including associated materials can be accessed at www.NCTSN.org/training. These training presentations employ a variety of rich media including audio, video, and Powerpoint components.

• One of our most successful examples is our Master Speakers Series, a series of presentations on a variety of topics related to treatment, assessment, and delivery of services.

• We are currently offering a year-long Culture and Trauma Speaker Series, which aims to address a variety of cultural issues surrounding the treatment of trauma.

• In many cases continuing education (CE) credits are offered.
