What is Ozone?Ozone is a molecule composed of three atoms of

oxygen. Two atoms of oxygen form the basic oxygen

molecule.The third oxygen atom can detach from the ozone

molecule, and re-attach to molecules of other substances, thereby altering their organic composition.

It is used to eliminate organic waste and reduce odor in water and air.

How is Ozone Made?Ambient air (oxygen) passes through an air gap

between a high voltage electrode and a stainless steel grounding electrode. The “energy field of electrons” created by the high voltage electrode instantly converts oxygen (O2) molecules into ozone (O3).

corona Discharge versus Ultra Violet • UV is Ambient Air that is passed over an ultraviolet lamp, this process splits oxygen (O2) molecules in the gas which produces less concentration of Ozone than Corona Discharge.

• Corona Discharge is an electrical charge that is spread over a small dielectric surface, creating an electrical field, or “corona” this produces a higher concentration of Ozone.
