Beacons allow precise geolocation of users and hardware, unlike limited GPS

location systems that only work well outside. Beacons function in three dimensions both indoor multi-level buildings and outdoor without the need for Wi-Fi or 3G/4G data signals. Smart device applications interact with the beacon to deliver either simple or complex actions that are dependent on the user’s settings and multimedia requirements. Magnus Mundi is an open platform solution for galleries, museums, visitor attractions & events that uses web, smartphone and beacon technology to give attendees a rich mobile experience that is highly relevant, convenient and delivered in a timely and seamless way. No need for QR codes, searching for content or dependence on phone or data connections, the relevant content pops up on the device as the attendee enters the beacon range. Content can be delivered specifically for a user’s profile, age, language, interest level to deliver a truly tailored event to each attendee. Users can search for drink specials such as ‘happy hours’, great deals on food such as ‘2 for 1’, ‘half-price’ or ‘all-you can eat’. Users can also filter their search results in order to find fantastic deals on entertainment such as discounted admissions, free entrance between certain hours, or even to find incredible acts or shows that the user would not normally hear about.

YORGI is easy to use. By employing the same ‘swipe’ method used in other popular apps such as Tinder, it is quick and easy to flip past the deals that you are not interested in.

SlidR brings brilliant customer interaction and relationship management to F&B. Integrating web platform, App & Smart Beacons & Wearables into one simple package. Bring high precision customer behaviour & seamless ordering to your premises.

Integrating with Yorgi where required, customer orders are pushed to your teams wearables when the customer is in range of your SmartBeacon. This enables a personalised customer experience as their order is prepared before or as they arrive at the counter. HECTOR stands for “Human-Elephant Conflict Tool for Ongoing Research’.

Recent studies have shown an increase in the conflict between humans and elephants therefore the need arose to find a way to collect the data surrounding these incidents.

When villagers witness elephants outside of their protected areas (PA), they use HECTOR to input data such as: location of animal, number of elephants including specifics such as female / male ratio and age. Electric Bench is proud to sponsor this app as one of our first charity initiatives.

Electric Bench are now expanding this product to include other endangered animals, as well as an individual animal recognition system called JUMBO to be able to track these animals from photographs alone.
