Maths and Literacy The Frog Prince activities

Week 2: Day 1Collect a selection of objects from around your house. Have your 1 – 10 cards muddled up. Choose a card and make that number using your collected objects. How many have you got? What happens if you add 1 more? What number have you got now?Repeat with other numbers.

Week 2: Day 2Have your 1 – 10 Get an adult to show you a card. When they show you the card, you have to do that many actions (show on your fingers, that many jumps etc.) Repeat with different numbers.

Week 2: Day 3Have your 1 – 10. Get an adult to show you a number card. When they show you it, you have to find it on your number track and colour that number in. Repeat until you have found all of the numbers on the track.

Week 2: Day 4 Have your 1 – 10 cards muddled up. Get an adult to show you the number card. You have to make that number out of play dough. Repeat with other numbers. (Play dough recipe in resources)

Week 2: Day 5Use the resources to practise writing your numbers. Remember to start writing them from the correct point.
